This cooperative pirate game is where kids don’t mind at all answering math questions! Why? Because they want more treasure!
Players: 1-10 plus a Treasure Keeper (like the banker in monopoly)
First, roll the number cube and hop on the mat the number of spaces. If you land on a red coin, the Treasure Keeper gives you one of the pirate’s treasure automatically. If you land on a gold coin, you need to correctly answer one of the math questions to receive a treasure. You may go in any direction on the mat. It is to your advantage to plan which route that may land you on one of the coins. The game ends when you or your group have collected all the treasure or received at least five treasures to leave the island through the gates on the end of the mat.
